Christmas Basket Food Collection

In the late afternoon of Wednesday, November 29, the scouts once again ventured into Paw Paw, distributing paper bags to residents, asking them to fill the bags with canned and boxed food items as part of the Lions Club’s Christmas Basket food collection drive. It’s an annual effort for both the Lions Club and Troop 169 to collect food donations and redistribute to those in need.

The scouts will be back out later in the week to collect the bags. Thank you to everyone who’s donated already and to those who will donate. It means a lot to not only those involved in both the collection and distribution of the food but to those who will receive the Christmas Basket donations.
